Step 1: Open the EPFO member portal in your browser.
Step 2: Find the “Services” TAB, select the “For Employees” option.
Step 3: New webpage will be open, now click on the “Member UAN/Online Service (OCS/OTCP)” option. A new window will open.
Step 4: Log in to the portal using UAN, password, and the Captcha code.
Step 5: Select the “KYC” option under the “Manage” tab.
Step 6: Fill all required KYC details carefully. (Aadhaar, Pan, Bank Passbook) Ensure the details are correct.
Step 7: For withdrawal, go to Menu and select “Online Service”.
Step 8: Click on the “CLAIM (FORM-31, 19 & 10C)” option from the dropdown menu. Fill the claim form and process is done.
It will take minimum 7 working days to credit PF amount in your registered bank account.

2. How to check PF Balance by SMS? (Short Code SMS Service)
UAN activated Members may know their latest PF contribution and balance available with EPFO by sending an SMS at 7738299899 from registered mobile number.
“EPFOHO UAN” to 7738299899.
The facility is available in English (default) and Hindi, Punjabi, Guajarati, Marathi, Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Bengali.
For receiving the SMS in any of the languages other than English, first three characters of the preferred language needs to be added after UAN.
For example, to receive in SMS in Telugu then SMS to be send will be “EPFOHO UAN TEL” to 7738299899.
1. SMS should be sent from the registered mobile number of UAN.
2. EPFO sends last PF contribution and balance details of the member along with available KYC information.
3. Facility is available in 10 (ten) languages.

3. How to check PF Balance online?
Step 1: Visit EPFO Portal.
Step 2: Fill your UAN and password. Complete the CAPTCHA.
Step 3: After successful login, click on View Passbook in Menu.
Step 4: Passbook Portal will be open. Fill your UAN and password and here you can see you PF Balance amount and Service history also.
4. How check PF Balance on UMANG App
To check EPF balance through UMANG App, follow these steps:
1. Install the Umang app from App Store/Play Store
2. Register using your mobile number
3. Select "All Services" from the list at the bottom.
4. Choose "EPFO" from the list of results.
5. Click "View Passbook" for more information on your EPF balance.
6. Enter your UAN and click Get OTP.
7. After entering the OTP, select "Login" and follow the steps that appear on your mobile.
Your passbook and EPF balance will be displayed on the screen after that.
